We look at the whole person: we assess and prioritise your individual needs, focussing on causes, diet, emotions and symptoms. Our aim is to provide you with the necessary tools to improve your sense of wellness and overall wellbeing. Our approach puts you on centre stage and our recommendations seek to align the individual body with the mind and emotions. To this end, we encourage you to take responsibility for your own health and go that extra mile: we will be there to educate you about tools, techniques and methods that can facilitate the restoration of homeostasis in the body.
After an extended appointment with our UK-based medical professional associate (a Doctor who is also trained in Functional Medicine), an individual plan will be designed with you in mind. We will detail your specific needs, individual requirements and unique targets. This plan will include information concerning the exercise regimen that best suits your physical condition and the diet that is most in harmony with your metabolic and ayurvedic type. This plan will be used by the practitioners and therapists at the retreat who will tailor their approach and techniques to conform to the recommendations provided therein. As a result, all activities, practices and techniques that you will be accessing during your time at the retreat will be tailored to your specific needs.
The retreat is a haven where you can enjoy nature, leave behind your daily worries, rest, recuperate and replenish your depleted energies. You will learn new practical skills such as how to prepare quick, tasty and wholesome food and nutrient-dense juices. You will practice preparing a variety of detoxes and cleanses and will be given ample opportunity to detox emotionally, as well as physically.
Our aim is to empower you to take responsibility for your own health. In other words, our aim is to help you find a way that positively affects your body, mind and soul but that best suits your needs, temperament and physical condition.
Our success is measured by the degree that you become your own healer and what we love more than anything is seeing you leave the retreat with increased spirit vitality, feeling emotionally enriched and able to sense an overall physical improvement to your condition.
Empowerment is at the centre of what we do, as we believe that it is imperative for all our guests to spend their time with us learning how to deal successfully with emotional challenges, negative states of mind
and dis-eases of all sorts once they leave our haven.
We use ancient modalities such as Herbalism, Ayurveda, Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine (including acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion). We also use more contemporary systems such as Flower Essences, massage techniques (including Korean Hand Massage and Resilo Therapy).
Our daily educational talks (and ensuing discussions) on a wide range of topics, including lifestyle, nutrition, detoxification, physical, emotional and mental health, are delivered by knowledgeable therapists and practitioners who have studied and practice themselves all the techniques they advocate.
